Back To Butuan!

I arrived Butuan early morning last July 13 (Sunday). I went to church and was very happy to see everyone. They asked me to share about my time in Sydney during the testimony time. That Sunday our invited speaker was Delora Sales, a co-worker of Lecille and me in Living Springs. The following Wednesday night the church leaders organized a welcome dinner and meeting for me in the church. They brought food; we also had a meeting where Auntie Cely (the OIC while I was away) reported what ministries they did and planned. Then we enjoyed the rest of the night singing songs as the room we rent for church is set up with karaoke equipment.

Welcome dinner and meeting was great. Kabuotan kaayo nila.
Attack! Aunti Cely's steamed fish was fabulous.
Ate Choleng giving it her all.
Our new place is inside a bar with multiple facilities: the church is in a function room that accomodates 80 people; across us is a disco room that can accomodate over 100 people (we can transfer there in the future when we need to); there are many tables outside where our children ministry is being handled, then there's a big room with 6 billiard tables and around 8 dart boards; then there is also another smaller karaoke room. That night Ethan, William and JR enjoyed a game of billiards while the others were singing karaoke songs. I praise God for allowing us to transfer to this place. It would be great for church family days, youth meetings and adults' meetings. It is owned by Ate Choleng's son, Mayok.
