Special Sundays

During the last 2 Sundays we invited guest speakers to preach the Word to us. The previous Sunday we had the president of the Butuan City ministerial association, Ptr Charlie Pryor, who came with his family. His message is in OUR SERMONS widget in the sidebar. It's too bad we forgot to take a foto of him.

Last Sunday we had an evangelist speak to us. He is brod Rey's brother, Daniel Macalolot. He spoke the Word very bluntly and directly, in a very uncompromising manner. We pastors sometimes tend to 'mellow down' the Word because we are careful not to offend people. That is why we decided to invite an evangelist who can bring correction and rebuke matter-of-factly. The Word was painful, but pleasant to the soul. Everyone received it humbly and gladly. The leaders of the church has agreed that we allow every gifting in the Body of Christ to help edify God's people.
