Faithful Provider

You may have noticed in our NEEDS section our need for an LCD projector and speaker system.

Well, our ever-dependable Father has proven Himself faithful again. Some of us in the fellowship have been blessed by the Lord and they gave the church a big sum of money. The leaders of the church met to pray and discuss what to do with this amount.

We were amused to see from our financial history that we have always been deficit every month! But the Lord carried us through; He would use people to just bless us financially. People would suddenly pledge to help us; and when they stop, lo and behold, other people pledge the same amount we need to get by month after month.

We concluded that the Lord gave us this amount not for us to just deposit it in the bank for a rainy day. If we did that, that money would just dwindle according to our financial situation. We felt He wanted us to invest this in things that will prepare us for growth, things that will enable us to be effective in ministering to more people. So we agreed to believe the Lord for our monthly financial sustenance, and to go ahead to purchase the LCD projector, the speaker system, and the MP3 recorder which was on our NEEDS list before.

Psa 71:18 So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.
