We started a Bible study in Auntie Cely's house in Estacio mainly for her house helpers, Dadang, Carmen and Jing. Dadang, is the mother of Jason and Rezy Mae who are very active in our youth group. I didn't want only the children to be blessed, but their mother as well, so auntie Cely and I opened that Bible study. The Lord is blessing this study group because other people joined us: ate Choleng Chu and her daughter Bea, Bernadette, Rey, Alyn, and their friend, Freddie; Inday Ngo (neighbor of auntie Cely) and Felipe Lim(neighbor of ate Choleng) who also brought another couple, Mr and Mrs Rogelio Diong. Pray the Lord will grant spiritual growth to all attendees.

February 16 was Sharon's wedding. They asked me to give the wedding homily. That was actually my first wedding sermon. I was quite nervous but it went well. Some people thanked me for the message afterwards. Thank God it blessed them.

Last Feb 17 we were caught off guard by a brownout. It was so hot in church we made a very quick decision to transfer to another venue we can rent. The service was still wonderful inspite of the unforeseen event.

Lecille and I were blessed with a digital camera - a good one, Olympus C5050 - given to us by our friends, Robert and Ruby Rusine. I have been 'wishing' for a digital camera and the Lord gave one to me. Kabuotan gyud sa Ginoo.

Lecille also celebrated her __th birtday (her age is secret) last February 22. We had a simple lunch at LSI and a family time that night.

We had lechon

That night at Pizza Hut we had pizza, pasta and salad

Recently we also had a house blessing. Rey and Alyn's friends Freddie and Gina and their family recently moved from Pangabugan to Cupin compound. Rey, Alyn and me went there to pray for them, their house and their sari-sari store. Last Sunday Freddie testified in church how God is helping them with their daily sales in their new store. Freddie's children, Christian, Kyra and Keren have joined the youth group recently and they are really enjoying it.

I'm so happy to see lots of pics & descriptions of your many activities during the past month. It will take my mind off another snowstorm, (the 6th one), that we had last night that lasted till this a.m. The snow was followed by freezing rain for a few hours, then it snowed over the freezing rain again from last night till 11this a.m. of wednesday, march 5th. Will spring never come?
What a great idea to start a bible study at Cely's house for her house helpers as we, indeed, want them to be also blessed. Praise God that other people from church plus neighbors are also attending. If this bible study is still ongoing when I visit, I would love to join also.
And I couldn't help noticing all the "snacks" from the 4 pictures. IT LOOKS LIKE DINNER TO ME!!!:-)
I rec'd the invitation to Sharon's & Junjan's wedding only yesterday, march 4th. From all the pics I've seen, the wedding was just beautiful.
And Pastor Edgar, you look dignified and very handsome in your barong. And I'm sure the wedding homily you delivered blessed the newlyweds as well the the other married couples in attendance....:-)
How very nice of Robert & Ruby Rusine to gift you guys with the Olympus C5050 digital cam. We thank God for them!
Are all these nice new pics taken by this new camera?
Belated happy __th birthday to Lecille. In my calendar, for some reason, I wrote her b-day down as Dec. 22, so I totally missed it. And Edgar, indeed, our birthdays are secret after a certain age...:-)...from now on, we are 39 and holding....:-)
Ethan looks very serious in this pic of him studying the menu. And why not? So many selections, so little time!!! What did he finally order? Oh, I think you mentioned pizza, pasta & salad so my guess would be he ordered pizza...yummy!!!
May our loving God bless Freddie & Gina's new place & may He prosper them in their new location. May our God bring them lots of customers to their new sari-sari store.
Praise God!!!
