First Lord's Supper

The church had its first Lord's Supper in obedience to our Lord's ordinances. That celebration was amazing because last Friday we still didn't have communion cups; the Christian bookshop in Butuan ran out of stock, and all other stores didn't have them. Then we remembered that our friend Pastor Ian Calo was in Bohol that day and is arriving in Butuan on Sunday. We contacted him and he was able to buy communion cups from Tagbilaran City! That's what we used in church that Sunday. God is amazing! Auntie Cely told me after church that our Lord's Supper was beautiful.

Church service began by giving flowers to the birthday celebrants for June and July. We then prayed for them.
It's a special day so I was in my barong.
Tio Boy, Auntie Gingging, Alyn and Rey held our communion elements.
Everyone lined up to get the elements.
We had snacks after the service.
