Our First Baptism

We had our baptism last Saturday 7 AM at Belinda Beach, Manapa. Thirteen submitted to water baptism, including Lando, Adin's husband, and Tobey and Ram who did it the second time because they got baptized too young and thought they did not really understand it at that time. After baptism we also had team building activities to develop bonding and to develop teamwork. We had a GRRRREAT TIME together, praise the Lord!

To see a slideshow of the baptism, see WHAT'S NEW section in our sidebar, or click here.

I love your baptism at the beach, with eating together after & playing games for bonding purposes. What camaraderie!

This takes me back to the day of my own baptism behind the altar of Churchill Heights Baptist church in the summer of 1992. They didn't show us where we were going to be baptized so, on that day, we were very surprised to see that there was a deeply-recessed floor behind the altar that was filled with water & that was the place. Immediately before our baptism, each one of us had to go on the pulpit part of the church & share our story of how we decided or what made us become a christian. There was no eating or camaraderie after. Each of us went with our respective families to a restaurant & had lunch.
So, definitely, your beach baptism is more desirable & fun.
