Our Own Place!

Hello everybody! We have finally found a place for our fellowship. We will begin gathering there this coming December 10. So many things are happening right now; here they are:

We need to raise P30,000 for the 2 months deposit and 1 month advance; around 35,000 for 2 aircons; and P11,000 for 50 chairs. Last Sunday we announced that we will have a rummage sale this coming Saturday and we will collect special offering this coming Sunday. Our brethren are now gathering their rummage items and we will collect them this Thursday. Auntie Choleng said last Sunday she already has 2 boxes waiting in her house! Everyone is excited and willing to help. Mabelle and Lea also solicited from loved ones and they said they will give. Our rummage sale will be held at the Radaza's residence in Imadejas Subd this Saturday.
The chairs can be purchased later because we can just rent for the meantime. We plan to pay in cash for one aircon and pay monthly for the other one. But everyone believes the Lord will provide for us.
The owner of the building asked for the name of our fellowship because it needs to be in the contract. Lecille and I took the liberty to put down The Jesus Community or The Jesus Family. We still need to look at the S.E.C. website if these names are available.
So Tuesday next week, we will give the P20,000 deposit to the owner. By Wednesday, we will start cleaning and decorating the place, and transfer all our equipment there.
We will begin there on December 10. Then we will have our anniversary/Christmas celebration there on December 17. This place will also become the venue for the youth outreach we have been praying for a long time. This is also where we will do our discipleship training and seminars. We now have a leaders' group that meets regularly - a group that we plan to open for everyone who want to be trained to be a leader and worker in God's vineyard. Praise the Lord for everything!
